JOB DESCRIPTION:

Rudolph Libbe Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to make deliveries of equipment and materials to job sites in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Make necessary deliveries to job sites as directed by Yard Manager and Assistant Yard Manager.
• Load and secure loads on trucks as well as unloading trucks.
• Load and unload large, operated equipment including oversize/overweight permitted loads.
• Required to maintain status of deliveries on Verizon scheduling app
• Operate a forklift and Gradall.
• Must be able to handle and lift 75 to 100 lbs.
• Complete all necessary paperwork required by Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company.
• Keep vehicles and trailers cleaned and well maintained.
• Assist associates with yard duties as directed by Yard Manager.
• Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
• Overtime as required.

SKILLS:

• Required to maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and outside personnel.
• Must be a self-motivated individual with conscientious work habits and a focus on safety.
• Must be familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Basic construction knowledge (home, commercial or industrial) would be beneficial.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma is required. Education through a trade school would be beneficial.

• Must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and 5 years CDL experience hauling equipment and materials.
• Must pass all DOT requirements which include supplying 5 years of employment history.
• Forklift experience a must.
• Mechanical experience is desired.
