Our services include commercial HVAC service, preventative maintenance programs, testing and balancing, electrical, ductwork cleaning, energy procurement, building automation controls, and facility management solutions.  GEM Service is part of the Rudolph Libbe Group and supports customers throughout Northeast Ohio, Northwest Ohio, Lima, and Southeastern Michigan.

GEM Service is seeking a driven and consultative sales professional to help us grow our service division in Northeast Ohio. This role focuses on the pursuit of new business with the intention of growing our contracted maintenance base.  You will work closely with operations, technicians, and account managers to identify customer needs, reduce facility operating costs, and deliver long-term value through preventative maintenance programs.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new commercial HVAC service opportunities, with an emphasis on preventative maintenance agreements.
  • Utilize phone calls, emails, drop-ins and networking to prospect target accounts based on facility type, equipment inventory, operational needs, and long-term service potential
  • Educate customers on the benefits of proper maintenance, energy efficiency, equipment lifecycle planning, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with service technicians, account managers, and operations teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs and company capabilities
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, forecasting, and customer activity records within the CRM system
  • Travel within approximately a 60-mile radius of the Cleveland office to visit customers and prospects

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business experience is preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience preferred but not required.
