Oversee and mentor VDC technicians to develop accurate BIM models based on project requirements to optimize project delivery.
Manage VDC project timelines, resources, and budgets. Track progress and ensure milestones are met in line with the overall project schedule.
Coordinate VDC manpower with VDC project managers to meet project deadlines.
Support project coordination with GEM’s Regional Offices and Rudolph Libbe Inc.
Estimate costs for VDC work and generate proposals for customers.
Develop and implement standard VDC workflows for consistency across the organization.
Oversee BIM database(s) build-out, standardization, and development.
Drive project design/detailing to capitalize on prefabrication opportunities.
Use AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD programs to create plans, elevations, sections, and isometric drawings for installation and prefabrication.
Perform quality control checks on BIM models and drawings to ensure accuracy to project standards, best practices, current means and methods, and standardization.
Develop and implement training programs to improve team knowledge of VDC tools, BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks), and other digital technologies, ensuring ongoing professional growth.
Manage BIM software subscriptions for users and preserve established relationships with software vendors.
Oversee the procurement and usage of laser scanners, robotic total stations, 360 imaging, and other construction technology to improve VDC and field operations.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in design processes and workflows.
