Accounting Clerk

The Service Accounting Clerk will perform accounting duties for the GEM Service Division.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Both T&M and project invoices for assigned Account Manager/Regions
• Facilitate transfers for assigned customers
• Job cost comparisons and audits
• Job Set-ups
• Daily job set ups in accounting system (eCMS)
• Purchase Contract and Subcontract entry
• Assist with tasks as directed by Accounting Supervisor
• Occasional same day travel

SKILLS:

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and external
• Working knowledge of accounting principles

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Must have strong computer skills
• Must have good time management skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Five (5) years accounting experience or a college education in business/accounting

• Understanding of sales taxes

• Construction industry experience is a plus

• Data entry on customer portals experience is a plus
